What's Poppin' Episode #4 - Featuring LIGHTS

What's up Everyone,

I hope everyone is enjoying the show. We're definitely putting our best efforts into making "What's Poppin" a show that you will wait up to watch and one that you'll talk about the next morning at work. We appreciate all the positive feedback we've received from our recent episodes, and we want to encourage all praises and criticisms, because it will only make us better in the end.

Does anyone recognize the album cover above? Of course you do! But just in case you've been living under a rock, that is the debut album of Canadian electro-pop sensation "LIGHTS". Now this is one of those situations where I'm sure you've heard her music before like say in an Old Navy commercial: (www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHTSmEPSfX0&feature=related) or with unofficial remixes done with some of the industries biggest names (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgMKd5TL-u4) because this singer from Timmins, Ontario has been everywhere the past couple of years. She's won a 2009 Juno award for best new artist, she won favorite solo artist and favorite single at the Canadian music week in March 09', she's been selling out shows in New York and in Los Angela's, oh and not to mention she's signed to Universal Music. Needless to say, Lights has been doing her thing for a while now.

In our next episode we had a chance to speak with "Lights" when she stopped by in Toronto for her Cross-Canada tour to talk about her debut album (artwork shown above), her latest music video "ICE" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AU9-TRVbhkE) and much more. We also had a chance to get inside and grab some footage at her concert inside the Kool Haus in downtown Toronto.

This episode is gonna be huge guys, in popularity and in length. We are making it a special two-part episode because we just can't squeeze all of the excitement into one single episode.
